"The Instructive Christ" and "The Good Shepherd" were carved by Alois Lidauer of Salzburg, Austria from Indiana limestone.  "The Instructive Christ" was completed in 1966 and is affixed to the wall of the education wing of the church building outside the Market Street entrance.  In addition to the Indiana limestone sculpture of "The Instructive Christ", Alois Lidauer also completed a smaller sculpture of "The Instructive Christ" from cherry that was given to members of Trinity who in turn donated it to Trinity.  The cherry sculpture of "The Instructive Christ" is affixed to one wall of the chapel.  "The Good Shepherd" was completed in 1974 and is located adjacent to the front entrance into the Gathering Space.

Additional information about Alois Lidauer and the works he completed for Trinity can be found in the following compilations of reports, newspaper articles and photographs.
