Trinity Prayer Concerns
Shout for joy to the Lord,
all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before
Him with joyful songs, know that the Lord is God. It is
He, who made us, and we are His; we are His
people, the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100: 1-3.
Heavenly Father, we praise Your Holy
Name; we give thanks for the blessings that You bestow upon us;
and we offer our prayers to You alone. May they be pleasing in
Your sight, and may they be fulfilled, according to Thy Will and
Purpose. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will stir up in us
willing hearts. May we be ever mindful that all things are
possible through You, O God!
As we say goodbye to summer – the music,
the fun, and the vacation memories – let us now begin to focus
on the wonderful educational opportunities that lie ahead. Lord,
we pray for all of our students, our teachers, our parents, and
our schools. May our homes not only be a place of safety and
comfort, but also a place where learning is actively nurtured
and enthusiastically valued!
Here at Trinity, we are truly blessed
with many spiritual learning ministries. We give thanks for our
pastors, teachers, and lay volunteers who willingly share their
love for us, their calling to teach, and their desire to enhance
our knowledge and understanding of Thy Word.
We bid a hearty welcome to Vicar Cheri
Korte, and her family. We pray that our actions and prayers will
make them feel welcome, loved, and appreciated. Trinity Lutheran
has been richly blessed, indeed! We pray that her time with us
will be filled with love, learning, sharing, and spiritual
growth.
Holy Father, each time we come to You in
prayer, let us remember to pray for the needs of others; let us
remember to pray for a more peaceful world; let us remember to
pray for all the innocent victims, especially, the families who
are forced to become refugees because of warfare; let us
remember to pray for the homeless, the sick, the hungry, and the
needy; and let us remember to pray for all those who do not yet
know You; do not know of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and
Savior; do not know how the Holy Spirit can fulfill them, and
guide their steps; and do not know the power of the Good News!
We love You, O God, and we yearn to be
faithful and productive in Your sight. We live because You give
us life; we are blessed because Your love for us is beyond all
reason and measure. Therefore, let us go forth in discipleship
with Your Holy Spirit leading our way. Thy Will be done! In
Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
