grade classes "rotate" through
varying activities coordinated through themes. Each
Sunday, we help children explore stories in the Bible
through music, drama, science, cooking, games and
more. Not only do they learn Bible truths, but they
also have FUN at the same time! In addition to growing
in their faith, children also learn how to be of service to
others.

Lutheran Adult Forum
Articles from
The Lutheran serve as a basis for a discussion learning opportunity, "The
Lutheran Adult Form," on the last Sunday of each month. Topics will vary
each month.

Special
Topics - Learning Opportunities
9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Special Topics programs are also at 9:30
a.m. on Sunday with the exception of New Member Orientation classes
which
begin with informal conversation at 9:15.
New Member Orientation classes are held two times each year - starting in September and
February. The classes are designed to give the participants
an understanding of Trinity and its ministries, to
gain a deeper understanding of the Lutheran
expression of our Christian faith, to get to know
the pastors and the other members of the program
staff and to meet other people who share their
interest in Trinity.
The current
schedule for the next New Member Orientation classes is:

2012 - February 12, 19, 26, March 4, 11, 18
with the Reception of New Members on the weekend
of March 24/25.

fall 2011 will be “Romans.” There is no
pre-registration and the classes are open to all. No experience necessary!! |

Women's Bible Study
Meets on
mornings in the Autumn and Winter. The sessions run
from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Babysitting is available.

Men's Bible Study
Meets on two
Tuesday mornings each month from September through May from
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Brothers Diner off Route 15 south
in Mechanicsburg.

Men's Small Group
The
men's small group meets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in
the church library and lasts for one
hour.
The
group starts September 13, 2011, and ends December 13, 2011. Our
only break will be November 22 for Thanksgiving.
Our discussion starter will be
a DVD series by Rob Bell titled
"NOOMA".
The series consists of 24 disc's each about 10 minutes
long, followed by prepared questions by the author. Rob
Bell is the senior pastor of a large church in Grand
Rapids
Michigan. He is also the author of 3 books, the latest is
titled "Love Wins".
We
start in 2012 on January 10, ending the Tuesday before Holy
Week - March 27, 2012.

Men's Third Saturday
The group, "Men's Third Saturday", meets on the third Saturday
of the month (hence the name!). The next series runs from
October 15, 2011 to April 21, 2012, excluding the month of
December October 15, November 19, 2011 and January21, February
18, March 17 and April 21, 2012). The group meets in the
church library at 8:30 a.m. for a light breakfast. The
discussion starts at 9:00 and ends by 10:00. There is a
different speaker and topic each month. Questions?

Men's Breakfast Gathering
The Men's
Breakfast Gathering generally meets on the first Saturday of
each month (except for New Years, July 4th and Labor Day) in the home of one of the men. The meeting starts
with breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a Bible study or an open discussion about a
current topic of interest chosen by the man hosting the
gathering. The gatherings end at 9:30. This is
a great, informal way to have fellowship with other Christian
men. |

Sup and Study -
a time for community at
Trinity
Sup and Study
happens seasonally on Wednesday evenings.
They start with a celebration of bounty with catered suppers
that are followed by unique class offerings. Arrive in
the Gathering Space at 5:30 p.m. for the meal. The
class offerings are over by 7:30 p.m. Sup and Study is for
all church family and friends.
