Christian Churches United
(CCU) is an ecumenical group of more than 100 churches in
Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry Counties that functions as a
Council of Churches would in other areas. A major portion of
CCU's mission is to be a centralized agency to provide
emergency services in the names of all churches to the
"neediest of the needy" in our greater community.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, is a member congregation
of CCU and currently includes $7,500 in its annual budget to
support CCU. A special benefit "A Night at the Mardi Gras"
is being planned at Trinity in February, 2009, to raise
additional funds to support CCU's work.
