| On Eagle’s Wings Summer Bible
School Trinity provided two teams to go to two communities in
the North West Territories of Canada this summer to teach Summer
Bible School. This is the third year that members of our
congregation have returned to these villages. The children as
well as their parents and grandparents have gotten to know us.
We only go where we are asked to come. This is an ecumenical
Christian ministry that serves the church and individuals in
remote and isolated areas of northern Canada.
The children were so excited
and so enthusiastic we all felt very welcome. The native
children learn best visually, so we perform our Bible stories as
plays. We have fun with crafts and making props for the plays.
This summer it was Moses and God’s plans for him. (The plays
were great fun). The children learned that God has a plan for
each of them, that God will lead and provide for them and He
will always be with them. The children of the North need this
message. The children sang and shouted at the top of the lungs
their favorite song, “Our God is so great! So strong and so
mighty! There’s nothing our God cannot do!!”
