Intercessory Prayer Ministry
"Do not worry
about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Philippians 4:6
The Power of
Prayer
The
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the
Library to pray as a group for the hospitalized, sick, and
shut-in church members as well as for the congregation and
members of the military. In addition, they pray individually on
a daily basis at home. Prayer request forms and boxes to
receive them are located in the narthex and at the desk in the
Gathering Space. All prayer requests are treated with
confidentiality. Women and men interested in participating in
this ministry may attend one of the monthly prayer meetings or
call Ruth Bertovitch through the church office. |

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer
Shawl Ministry
meets in Fellowship Hall on the fourth Thursday of each month,
except December, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. This committee knits or
crochets shawls and delivers them to sick, bereaved, and at-home
congregation members and friends in need. They invite those
interested to bring their willing hands and needles and join
them at any meeting. They have plenty of yarn and will provide
instructions to all who wish to learn. For additional
information, contact Kay Range through the church office.
If you are interested in learning to knit or
becoming involved in this Women of Trinity ministry,
contact Kay Range through the church office.

Visitation Ministry
The
Visitation Ministry
committee recruits men and women volunteers from the
congregation to visit shut-in members and hosts in-service
training luncheons with guest speakers to prepare the volunteers
for their monthly visits. The committee further
provides the volunteers with Christmas cookies baked by women of
the congregation, poinsettias, and Easter flowers to deliver to
the shut-ins. If you are interesting in joining in the
work of the committee or becoming a visitation volunteer,
contact Robin Fero through the church office. |
