Study and Fellowship

A primary commitment of each Women of the ELCA unit is to come together regularly for study, support and action.  The study and support elements of Women of Trinity’s ministry are largely carried out at our general meetings and through our five circles.  Our circles consist of small informal groups of women who meet monthly from October through April, except in December, to discuss a Bible-related study, catch up on news, and enjoy being with each other.

We study and get to know others by means of our Women of Trinity book discussion blog which functions in the same months as the circles and meets “live” once a month.  Click General and Circle meetings schedules and topics for dates, times and places.  Our Facebook page can be accessed through this same link, and you really should sign on as a fan of “Women of Trinity Lutheran Church” so that you can post comments.

Women of Trinity holds general meetings three times annually, in September, December, and May.  These meetings feature enlightening programs of interest to everyone and also include refreshments, a lunch, or covered-dish dinner.  These are popular events including both women and a number of brave men.  At our Christmas general meeting, the woman relaxed while Trinity’s fabulous Kitchen Crew served us a sumptuous feast.

Our large board meets at least five times a year between general meetings. While focused on the planning and administration of the organization, the board meetings are a great opportunity for fellowship as well.  The board consists of our officers, administrative and project (ministry) chairmen, and the circle leaders.  Our project groups, such as the Prayer Shawl and Sewing Ministries, develop lasting bonds between participants.

Join us in Christian study, fellowship, and service.  Visit our circles.  There are many ways you can use your unique, God-given gifts in Women of Trinity.
