Pastor Ludwig comes to Trinity as an experienced Senior Pastor
of 23 years, having served First Lutheran in Ellicott City, MD,
from 1985-2008. More recently, he has served as an Interim
Pastor for Reformation Lutheran in Milford, DE.
His 37 years of experience include
serving as an Associate Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran in Hanover,
PA (1975-80) and serving as Chaplain to Susquehanna University
in Selinsgrove from 1980-85.
He attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg and
is a graduate (Magna Cum Laude) of Lancaster Theological
Seminary in 1973. In 2000, he received the “Excellence in
Ministry” Award from Lancaster Seminary, the highest honor they
bestow.
The author of seven books, Pastor Ludwig also chairs the Board
of Directors of the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg.
He and his wife, Stella, a retired elementary school teacher,
have relocated, with their cat, Wally, to Mechanicsburg for the
duration of this interim period. Pastor Ludwig’s two children
and four grandsons live in PA. He and Stella are happy to be
coming home to Central PA. |
