Our Mission:
As a community of women created in the image of God, called
to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy
Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our
gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in
ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in
the church, the society and the world.

Women of
Trinity (WOT) encourages all women of the congregation to
participate according to their schedules, interests, and
talents. WOT is a unit of
Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA)
and a part of the Lower Susquehanna Synodical Women’s
Organization.
Women of
Trinity holds general meetings with programs three times each
year, in September, December and May. In addition, five
circles, featuring fellowship and study, meet monthly at
differing times and dates, from October through April, excepting
December. During the same months, a book discussion internet
blog “meets” at a specific time but may be visited at any time.

“General and Circle Meetings Schedules & Topics.”
With nine
project ministries--including two devoted to prayer--Women of
Trinity is involved in congregational as well as community and
churchwide service. Some of these project groups meet throughout
the year and others, at the call of the chairman. In most, a
member may arrange to work at home to suit her schedule.

Ministries.”
The
planning and business of Women of Trinity are carried out
between general meetings by the board, which is composed of the
officers, administrative and project committee chairmen, and
circle leaders. The current Women of Trinity Handbook presents
information on the organization, mission, leaders, schedules,
projects, studies, programs, and membership. The Handbook
may be obtained at circle and project meetings, the church
office, or at the desk in the Gathering Space.
