The Triduum

On Maundy Thursday we begin the Triduum, which means "The Three Days."  The Triduum includes Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Vigil of Easter (on Easter Eve).  The three liturgies on these days are considered to be one service of worship.  No benediction separates our worship on these days.  We leave the worship space in silence from each liturgy for just a while in order to return and continue participating in the great mystery and miracle of our redemption.
