For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.

What is YG?

To put it simply, we are a family. A strong, positive faith forming group (“family”). We meet together as “one” for fun, fellowship, and learning with one another. In YG, we gather for meetings, trips and various get-togethers all in the name of the Lord. Christ is the reason for our existence. We seek to constantly proclaim this message boldly through all that we do.

Our Junior High YG begins in 6th grade and goes through 8th grade.  Our Senior High YG is from grades 9 – 12.  We have something for everyone and are always welcoming new members.  Join us and bring a friend (or two) anytime! We hope to see you soon.

For additional information, contact our YG Director, Peter Fox.

ELCA Youth Gathering

ELCA National Youth Gathering! We need your help to send 19 representatives of Trinity Lutheran Church to Houston, Texas. The Gathering is an inspirational meeting of 30,000 Lutheran high school students for faith building and service to a community hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. In a few weeks, you’ll hear directly from the youth who are excited for this opportunity, but in the meantime … here’s what to do … take any envelope from the bulletin board in the Gathering Space … fill it with the number of dollars listed on the front (cash, check, or donate at the Giving Station) … place the envelope in the offering, then … SMILE … you are a blessing to the youth and their advisors! Thank you!

To learn more about the Gathering, check out the event website at https://www.elca.org/YouthGathering/about/overview. Be sure to scroll down just a little bit, under the maps, to see the section “2015 Gathering by the Numbers”.
