Mount Holly Marsh Preserve and Cassell’s Grille

Join us for an excursion to the Mount Holly Marsh Preserve on May 22. We will meet at 2 pm in the Preserve’s parking area and set off for a 3.4 mile hike through the preserve on the Marsh Loop and Creek Trail. After the hike we will grab dinner and refreshments at the Cassell’s Grill in Mount Holly Springs! All are welcome.
Hike to Center Point Knob & Explore the Boiling Springs Foundry Day Festival

Join us for a fun day of in Boiling Springs and the Foundry Day Festival. We will meet at 9:00 AM at the Boiling Springs High School parking lot. A shuttle will take us to downtown Boiling Springs where we’ll hike to Center Point Knob on the Appalachian Trail, the former middle point of the entire trail when it was completed in 1937. This is a 2.7 mile hike (total mileage, out and back) is mostly flat, but does have steeper sections. Following the hike, we’ll explore the Foundry Day Festival, an annual juried arts and crafts festival.
