We have all heard the saying “Music is the soundtrack of your life.” Then let us help you create the soundtrack for one of the most important days of your life.
During your ceremony your music can be played on a piano or organ (or a combination of both!) We also have both contemporary and classical styles of music that can be used. We can help you hire instrumentalists and vocalists if you are interested in expanding your musical selections. We only hire the finest of local musicians for your special day. You may also bring in your own musicians for the day; however they must adhere to our guidelines for a Christian service.
We have included our most popular music selections for you to review. Please take some time to listen to them and think about what songs you would like to hear at your ceremony. Once you have your selections, please email them to us and we will set up the “soundtrack” for you service.
Our Music Fees are:
Organist Fee – $175 ($200 if using a vocalist or instrumentalist for the ceremony)
This includes planning and practice time, any phone, email or personal consultations that may arise, the wedding rehearsal (which I sometimes attend) and the actual ceremony. If using a vocalist or instrumentalist, there will be additional rehearsals required (resulting in the higher fee.)
Live Instrumentalists – Fee Determined Upon Request
Typically flute, violin, trumpet, harp or handbells. Only the finest local musicians are hired. You may request to hear a sampling of their music before hiring them.
Vocalists – Fee Determined Upon Request
There are several exceptional singers that can be hired depending on your preference (e.g. male or female voice; high or low voice; contemporary or classical style, etc…) All are excellent singers whom you may hear ahead of time if you would like.
