The Ecumenical Food Pantry provides food for those in need throughout the Harrisburg area.  Trinity collects food and takes it to the Ecumenical Food Pantry located at Messiah Lutheran Church in Harrisburg.  Trinity volunteers staff the food pantry on the first Friday of every month, and Trinity provides some budget funds for this ministry.  Your generosity in providing food for those in need is very much appreciated.

When is food collected?
       Food is collected every Sunday.  In fact food can be brought to the
       church on any day.

Where do I put the food?
       Place your non-perishable food items in the food box in the collections
       closet in the Gathering Space or in the baskets in the narthex.

What types of food are collected?
       All foods must be non-perishable.  Items that are particularly needed are
       soup, noodles, baked beans, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter,
       spaghetti and spaghetti sauce, baby food, powdered milk, tea bags,
       canned juice and canned meats.
