The Adventures of Flat Jesus – Summer 2019

Flat Jesus had a busy summer! He visited 30 states, 9 countries, and had his picture taken nearly 400 times! Congratulations to all of our award winners. You can see all of the pictures here!

Best Documented Award: Carol MacConnell – For submitting 145 pictures of Flat Jesus and his travels this summer.

The Farthest Trip Award: Brody Powers – For travelling over 4300 miles to the Germany/Austria Border.

The Farthest Trip Award: The Shepler Family – For travelling over 4300 miles to Poland.

The Best Dressed Award: Karen Albert – For dressing Flat Jesus up as Harry Potter.

The Most Unique Experience Award: Matt Bingaman – For hanging out with the umpires of the Little League World Series.

Roar VBS Day 2 – When Life is Scary…God is Good

In June 2019, members of Trinity ventured to Cherryfield, Maine for our ninth annual mission trip to work with the Housing Rehabilitation Program of the Maine Seacoast Mission. The team works on houses or mobile homes for people that do not have the resources to improve the houses themselves.

This year, for the first time, Trinity participated in the Camp Hill Memorial Day Parade – with our own float.

Mardi Gras in May was a fundraiser to benefit the Lower Susquehanna Synod’s Always Being Made New campaign for youth and young adult programs. It was a delightfully festive event.

Easter Day, April 21, 2019 – A day to celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord!

Our annual Chili Cook Off features a wide variety of traditional and creative chilies with our chili chefs vying to have their chilies voted best in class and to be awarded the much coveted Chili Trophy! It is a wonderful family experience each year.
